IPReg appoints new chair

CIPA congratulates Caroline Corby on her appointment as Chair of the Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg), the regulatory body of patent attorneys and trade mark attorneys.

Caroline, whose board level experience spans the criminal justice system, healthcare and finance, takes over the role from Michael Heap on May 1.

Caroline has represented a number of other organisations and is currently the Chair of the Investigation Committee of the General Optical Council, Non-Executive Director of The Parole Board, Non-Executive Director of the Children and Family Court Advisory  Support Service (Cafcass) and Non-Executive Director of the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC).
